Cooling: a bigger radiator and an electric fan

The finding
My CX500E cools with a fan driven off the engine, with its shroud fixed to the front hanger plates. A 650 has no engine-driven fan. It runs an electric fan on its own radiator.
So when the front hanger plates change for the 650, the cooling changes with them: radiator, shroud, fan, water pipes and stay.
Options
- The 650’s own set (GL650/CX650E, the ME2 parts): radiator
19010-ME2-003, shroud19015-ME2-003, fan19020-ME2-003, fan motor19030-ME2-003, thermoswitch37760-MC7-003, upper water pipes19414-ME2-000. Honda’s CX650E parts list shows the radiator on the same rubbers and collars as my 500. - A bigger alloy core with an electric fan, which the plan currently favours for looks and capacity.
- A CBR125 radiator. The build manual’s Stage 5 pick. Its own earlier section says it’s too small for a 650. Out.
What would change it
- Whether the engine I buy comes with its radiator and fan. Several of the listings found by the weekly search include them.
- The 650 radiator’s three mounts against my frame tabs, checked on the bike.
- Packaging around the front of the engine once the front end and exhaust are decided.
Stage 5’s gate is simple: no leaks, the fan cuts in, and the stationary noise test passes.
History
- Frame comparison: the 500's front hanger plates carry the shroud for its engine-driven fan. The 650 runs an electric fan on its own radiator, so the cooling has to change with the hangers.
- QC of the build manual: its own section 1 says a CBR125 radiator is too small for a 650, but Stage 5 still specifies one.
